Our Mission

Preah Vihear Foundation was established in 2016, committed to advocating and preserving historical antiques, archives, artifacts, monuments and landmarks related to the rescue of refugees in the 1970's in Cambodia and the greater French Indochina region.

The Focus

Preah Vihear Foundation is named after Preah Vihear Mountain, translated "holy monastery", a mountain sanctuary of the highest sacred order and the location of refugee related landmarks.

Situated also on the plateau edge, ~2000 ft high is Cambodia's second UNESCO World Heritage Site, Preah Vihear Temple, a famous 11th century temple dedicated to Shiva.
